Physical needs: Physical needs for childhood children to reach self actualisation is Maslows pyramid starting of at the bottom at physical needs , providing the child with water , food , shelter and a safe place to live. For a child to be provided with food , shelter and a safe place to live is for there parents to provide it for them , a child than ranges from 4-10 doesn’t know how to go out and make money from themselves to be provided with all these needs.
Safety and Security needs: Safety and security in childhood is very vital because at child hood feeling safe is important, having your parent praise you once in a while and tell you there proud of you which also builds your self esteem which will make you want to do more good things if its to do with school or even good at playing a sport. As a child being protected from any harm and danger is important to them because when they feel like they have someone there who can protect them then they won’t be always afraid to maybe go out to play with their friends or even go to school.
Social needs: The social needs within a child ranging from 4-10 is important because it involves the child emotions which is feeling loved ,affectionate , friendship , being valued and feeling like they belong. If a child thinks that they aren’t being loved by their family and feel like they are left out then they should talk to their family and tell them it may make a difference to them that their child feels like they aren’t loved and don’t feel like they even belong to the family circle.
Self esteem: Have a high self esteem and being able to feel great about your self and maybe everything that you have achieved so far in life and having your friends and family telling you that you have achieved so much and not putting you down. Feeling self actualised at childhood is important feeling that you set a target to fulfil something in life and just because its between the ages of 4-10 it doesn’t mean its not important because even if its just something as small as passing a class test in school it still is something Important to that person.
Self actualisation:In childhood feeling that you have made the top of the pyramid shows you that you have fulfilled maybe everything that you wanted , not being able to do it all without the help of your parents providing you with love , shelter ,clothing , warmth and somewhere nice to live. Fulfilling all of these needs in childhood and understanding maybe how hard it is to achieve physical needs, social needs, self esteem & safety and security needs in your everyday life.
