Personal hygiene – this can affect you negatively because if you don’t have a personal hygiene and keep yourself clean then you are more likely to get sick easier. This can affect you negatively because if you are going to school and you don’t know what hygiene even is then you may be bullied because maybe you have rotten teeth or stink because you haven’t had a daily bath.
Smoking- This can affect you negatively because it’s bad for you , smoking and passive smoking can damage your lungs but passive smoking seems to be worse(second hand smoking) this can affect your physical needs because if you are an active person that likes exercise then smoking or second hand smoking can bring on asthma which isn’t good when exercising. Smoking can financially affect you and your family because the cost of them which can be the prevention of the getting a proper healthy diet provided into the house.
Alcohol and substance abuse- This can affect you and your family negatively because too much of it can really damage a humans body the worst thing that could happen is that they could become an alcoholic which can ruin some families because certain people are wasting there money on alcohol instead of providing for their family e.g. decent food, water or juice, proper clothes that they want to wear and not clothes that they have no choice in wearing.
Exercise- This can affect you negatively because you can do too much exercise. But this is affecting you socially and emotionally because if you have a family or are in school you may put the exercising before your family or school work and not have enough time for anyone else to go out and socialise only sitting in the gym or playing football etc... And making it your number one priority and forgetting everyone else (family, friends, girlfriends or boyfriends)
Sexual practices- This is affect you negatively because if you are a young person that is in a relationship and you feel like you have to be intimate with your partner but don’t want to be then your emotional needs aren’t being met because your emotionally feeling pressured into something that you may or may not want to be doing at your age.
